Beach Time is Coming

As you know, most families take a yearly vacation to relax, have fun and to create memories that will last a lifetime. Here at Agape Outreach Homes, we are no different in wanting to provide this experience for our residents. Many of these men have been homeless or hospitalized most of their lives and have never been part of a loving family. Can you imagine not having a loving family or going through most of your life without experiencing the memories and benefits of a trip with loved ones?


Our trip to Myrtle Beach will take place August 26 – September 1, 2017.  The cost for this trip is $8,700 which is roughly $362 per individual. You can make a difference by helping us with additional funds to cover this cost. Your gift of $50, $100, $200 or more can make all the difference. Please know that no donation is too small and the entire amount will go directly to pay for the resident's trip. Also, we want to ask for your prayers that this trip will be therapeutic and provide emotional healing.

Agape Outreach Homes beat WBIR Channel 10 at Central High School Gymnasium on Thursday, March 9, 2017. There were wonderful performances by Elvis, Dance Et Plus, and the Sunshine Ambassadors and were visited by Slugger of the Tennessee Smokies and the Chick-fil-A cow. We greatly appreciate all our supporters, volunteers, and sponsors. We can not do this without you. Please take time to visit each one of our sponsors and tell them thank you.

It's Re-Enrollment Time!

Every year, Kroger asks individuals to re-enroll in the community rewards program which can benefit non-profits like Agape Outreach Homes. The way it works is that you register your Kroger Plus Card at www.krogercommunityrewards.com (you will need Agape's NPO number - 98032). Every time an enrolled member shops at Kroger using their Kroger Plus Card, Agape Outreach Homes earns rewards. Every quarter Kroger will send a check to Agape Outreach Homes. Below are some instructions. This is a simple way to make a big difference for our residents. Please consider helping us!

 

Steps to Register

  • Register online at krogercommunityrewards.com
  • Be sure to have your Kroger Plus card handy and register your card with your organization after you sign up.
  • If a member does not yet have a Kroger Plus card, please let them know that they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger.
  • Click on Sign In/Register
  • Most participants are new online customers, so they must click on SIGN UP TODAY in the ‘New Customer?’ box.
  • Sign up for a Kroger Rewards Account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your email address and creating a password, agreeing to the terms and conditions
  • You will then get a message to check your email inbox and click on the link within the body of the email.
  • Click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.
  • Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and input your Kroger Plus card number.
  • Update or confirm your information.
  • Enter NPO number or name of organization, select organization from list and click on confirm.
  • To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see your organization’s name on the right side of your information page.
  • REMEMBER, purchases will not count for your group until after your member(s) register their card(s).
  • Do you use your phone number at the register?  Call 800-576-4377, select option 4 to get your Kroger Plus card number.
  • Members must swipe their registered Kroger Plus card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger Plus card when shopping for each purchase to count.
